Inner Nature Retreat
Ayurvedahof Engel, Allgäu

Life moves between the familiar and the uncertain – around us and within us. Again and again we face the question of how to stay with ourselves when not everything can be planned.

In times like these, a personal practice can become an inner anchor. And yet many of us – even with yoga experience – know how hard it is to root routines in everyday life. Not because we lack discipline, but because a regular practice touches more than time management. Committing to a routine means giving yourself space – and with it, meeting the unknown: inner movements, old patterns, quiet resistance, or parts of us that want to hold on to the familiar.

These five retreat days follow a calm, recurring rhythm that offers support while staying open to whatever wants to emerge. We begin with a morning meditation that invites you to mindfully notice your inner processes. The dynamic yoga practice that follows helps you get to know the powerful rhythm of breath, body and mind. After practice there is a brunch in silence; the rest of the morning is yours – for walks in nature, reading, wellness or a nourishing treatment.

In the afternoon, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Authentic Movement lead you into deeper contact with yourself. The day ends with a shared dinner and the chance to exchange as a group.

We invite you to let your own practice take shape during this retreat – not as a fixed rule, but as a living form that is allowed to change and accompanies you as a conscious orientation in everyday life: an inner reliability that holds, even when uncertainty remains.

The place supports us Ayurvedahof Engel sits secluded in the Allgäu, surrounded by meadows, forest and lakes. Here, nourishment itself becomes practice: the warm hospitality of Dunja and Uli, the clear air, the quiet sounds of nature and the organic Ayurvedic-vegetarian cuisine, prepared with love and care.

A retreat for grounding, trust and an open, honest connection with yourself.
